The shop I usually use was closed today. Last time I use that dealer for anything.
Anyway, ready for next week's snow.

They're probably on backwards. Blame Mike Rowe.

Ford took 90 minutes to fix a badge on the Fusion. :|

I'm sorry? They spent 2,5 hours on fitting new tyres?

Took my dealer a strangely long time as well. Not going back to a dealer to change tires.

My Fiat dealer seems to prefer taking the same laid back mediterranean approach to service that I would expect in Italy. I like them, so I always just schedule maintenance on days that I know nothing needs to be done quickly.

Did I miss you getting your M3 back?? I don't recall you posting that all the work was done.

This, except your Fiesta ST (obviously) and off-road. They saw all the mud from your RallyX and knew you wouldn't notice.

Costco!
(Old post, I know. Just wanted to state my love for their tire shop).
(And yes, last time I was there, they had Blizzaks).

They change tires at Costco?!?! This changes everything.

Oh hell yeah. They even have PilotSports. Most stores have a tire shop (specialization!) and usually they only carry top brands (Michelin/Bridgestone/Pirelli/Continental).

And, and, and... free rotations/balancing for the life of the tire (every 7k). And warrantied against premature wear-and-tear (pro rata refund/replacement option). And prices lower than TireRack or other retailers. By a lot. Install's only $15/tire.

whaaaaa jesus how did I not know of this before. Thank you for telling me.

Usually they have one brand on discount (automatic $70 off). I put Bridgestone Ecopias on my Fit for under $380 total. Could have had Pilot Sports for $450, but you know, the wallet. Also better tire wear. 15,000 miles and two rotations later, still not a single issue with their work.

That's seriously awesome.

Right now - Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport summer tires for the FiST can be had for $430 for the set plus install. So there you go. Now you know! It's the best kept secret in tires, no shitting.

I already got very aggressive summer tires for my car (Dunlop ZIIs), but now I know for the future.

Good deal. I love when I can share the miracle of Costco.
